April 2020 saw near average mean minimum temperatures, whilst daytime temperatures were well above average and record high with a high number of warm days. There were very little rainfall during the month which was 14% of the long term average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first three months of 2020 brought average or above average rainfall, with an significant improvement in long period rainfall totals (except for periods longer than about 12 months). However with the below average rainfall in April the 6 and 9 monthly rainfall totals have started to dropped back into negative anomalies. Negative anomalies for the 12 month to 48 month rainfall totals increased further also. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
